The Effect of the Teach-Back Method on Illness Perception and Self-efficacy in Patients with Coronary Artery Disease

Background: Coronary artery disease (CAD) is a chronic disease. These patients need high level of illness perception and self-care behaviors until the end their lives. Objectives: The present study aimed to examine effect teach-back method on self-efficacy in with CAD. Methods: This quasi-experimental was conducted 100 CAD hospitalized coronary care units (CCUs) Zahedan University Medical Sciences southeast Iran 2021. were selected through convenience sampling divided into two intervention control groups using simple randomization. training program implemented individually for group three sessions (30 - 45 minutes) consecutive days 24 hours after patient’s admission hospital.
